Teapot records is essentially a set of really good friends who love to write songs, play music together, and help other people to do the same. In 2002, Rich and Wes made The Basement Sessions with Adele - our first recording project. It began as getting some demo tracks before Adele left for South Africa, but developed into a full-blown project. We really enjoyed it because it combined three of our passions: serving God, playing music, and helping people see their dreams come to life.

The company became 'official' at the end of 2003, in preparation for Now Choose Life, Faye's first public album, by which time we'd all become sure that writing, playing and recording music, are things we'd like to have as a special part of our lives. We record in a very relaxed way, in a lounge, with lots of tea, which might not be that good for the voice, but helps us all relax! Each project we do involves a good amount of fun, and a good amount of friendship forming. We're especially keen on coaxing song-writers who might normally keep their songs hidden away out of their closet, then we pool our talents to make our best representation of the songs, so that they can be spread further.
